Your Booking

How do I contact you?

Contact us via chat in the bottom right of this screen, by phone (414) 215-9698 or email ( You can set up a booking by giving us a call, or you can simply book through our website by clicking on the booking page.

Do you service my area?

You can apply a coupon to a future appointment by logging into your account and clicking your name in the top right hand corner. You can then select “redeem voucher” and enter your code. The system will automatically apply the code to your next appointment. You can not apply your coupon to past appointment that are already completed.

Can I cancel a booking?

Yes of course, you can cancel a cleaning/booking through logging in to your account. Please note we charge a $50 cancellation fee for cancellations after 5pm if cancelled the day before your booking, so please cancel with plenty of time to spare.

How late notice can my booking be?

We will try our best to facilitate bookings up to an hour before you need a cleaner. Just give us a call or book as normal and we will get back to you as soon as possible with a phone call if we can arrange a service for you. If we can’t we will let you know and you won’t be charged.

How many people will come to clean my house?

One professional cleaner is our standard. However, we may send a team of two people when the job is very large.

Are you insured and bonded?

Yes we are fully insured and bonded.

Who are your cleaning professionals?

All of our cleaners are professional, experienced, career cleaners. Each cleaning partner is carefully vetted, background-checked and are highly rated by other Better Cleans customers.

Can I tip my cleaner?

Tipping is entirely at your discretion.

Pricing & Billing

How do I pay?

We accept credit or debit card through our online payments system provided by Stripe. All payments are processed through a fully secure 256 bit protocol.

In addition, we have a full extended validation SSL security.

When is payment taken for services rendered?

Payment is taken the next working day after our maid services are rendered and the quality of the job is confirmed with you, the customer. Bettercleans has a 100% satisfaction guarantee for our cleaning services in Milwaukee and surrounding areas.

What is cost of your service?

Click on the “Services and Pricing” page on the menu at the top of the page to see our pricing. Our pricing is very simple and is based on the number of rooms in your home. The total cost will be shown before you book, and there are no hidden fees or contracts.

What is your 100% guarantee?

If you are not happy with your Bettercleans cleaning service, just let us know and we will send a team of cleaners back to make it right.

What is a Deep Clean or Move In/Out Clean?

A deep clean is for first-time customers or customers who haven’t had their home professionally cleaned in the last three months. A Move In/Out service is for when you are moving into or out of a new place. Please check out our “Services” page at the top for information on specific tasks.

Do I have to be present for a cleaning?

No, absolutely not, Better Cleans is here to make your life easier and free up some time for you! It’s your decision to stick around or go out and take advantage of the free time. If you want to leave, we will work with you to arrange private and secure access to the cleaner when you are not present.

Do I get the same maid each time?

Everyone likes routine and consistency and so do we. For all regular customers, we try and connect you with a regular maid. Although due to the popularity of some of our maids this may not always be the case.

What services do you not offer?

To protect our teams, we cannot clean in homes with biohazards such as animal waste and insect/rodent cleanup. We don’t offer wet wiping of light bulbs, resurfacing/waxing/refinishing of floors, large furniture moving or large scale trash disposal. We don’t clean from height so our cleaners don’t bring step ladders with them.

How do I refer a friend and how much do I get?

Referring a friend is easy, just send an email to, and CC your chosen friend(s). We will reply explaining our service and if they sign up and make a booking, you both get $20 off!

How do I redeem a gift voucher?

You will have an opportunity to enter any voucher codes during the booking process and before you enter any payment details.
